Guesthouse Mainz

Loved the clean studio near the train station! Super nice team, and the breakfast had great options like muesli and fresh pastries. A little cramped in the cooking area, but overall a solid spot for exploring Mainz.

Good service for the price. We arrived later than 20h on a saturday. We called before and they let us the key I secure box in front of the hotel. No problem. Found parking place in front of the hotel....It was late. Globally correct service and a good breakfast......

The staff is FLEXIBLE, amicable.

Although the room was quiet, a few things stood out. The shower screen was awkward for larger individuals, and people in the park across the road tended to be loud late into the night. Plus, the absence of air conditioning was felt during hot days, but the powerful fan provided some relief.

The room was equipped with a compact kitchenette that had induction hobs, making it convenient for light meal preparation.

The cooking area was rather cramped and difficult to navigate, especially for someone not quite tall enough to reach the upper shelves.

Appreciated our rooms with a kitchenette. The decor was great and the staff were very very helpful and excellent co-operating.

The beautiful location woudl ve been nice if not ruined by a sweaty staff member with the flu, handling food, how unsanitary. And don't get me started on the breakfast-hardly any low-carb options, if I wanted yogurt, I'd stay home. A complimentary bottle of water woudl have been a lovely touch. I almost gave a good review, but I just couldn't.

We had a comfortable stay for 1 night.

The people were affable, the rooms were tidy and huge. The location was magnificent and particularly good, for example, Gutenberg Museum was a 10-15 minute walking distance from the hotel. You could walk to the Christmas market and a market. Being close to the train station was a bonus.

The room was beautifully maintained and big, included with a kitchenette and utensils and a large west facing window. There were a microwave oven, coffee/tea making equipment and a fridge in the room too.

The large, modern bathroom was a highlight , super convenient with little kids. The kitchenette made life easier, and we loved that it was just a short stroll from the city center. The overall vibe was cozy and cute.

My wife says that the breakfast options could use some improvement.

It was just a smart choice for a swift visit in Mainz with very nice value for money. The staff was really friendly . Check out the breakfast options. You won't be disappointed!

We were kinda surprised to find that breakfast was included with a delicious and varied selection. The location is fantastic, just a short stroll to the main station and close to the historic Altstadt. The little courtyard terrace was also a highlight.

The absence of air conditioning in the room could be a concern during hotter months.

Family with children suitable choice

My kids and I loved the little kitchen in our room, it made fixing quick meals easy , just like home. Plus, the courtyard terrace was perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring.

It wasn't really cheap , but for the amenities and location, I think it was acceptable.
